Refund Policy

Every product that leaves our workshop should exceed your expectations. We are proud to offer:

  • Unlimited Lifetime Warranty
  • 90 Day Free Exchanges & Returns for Store Credit
  • 30 Day Returns for Refund (minus return label cost)

When you buy from Le Gars Leathercraft, know that we stand behind our work.

To start a return, you can contact us at baptiste@legarsleathercraft.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

IMPORTANT RETURN EXCEPTIONS

Because many of our products are handmade and customized specifically for each customer, some items are not eligible for return.

Personalized / Engraved Products

Any product that has been personalized or engraved cannot be returned or exchanged unless the mistake was made by us.

Belts

All belts are custom cut specifically for your size at the time of order. Because of this, belts are non-refundable and non-returnable unless the mistake comes from us.

Please double check sizing and personalization details before placing your order.

OUR LIFETIME WARRANTY

Our products are heirloom quality and intended to be passed on through generations.

All items are guaranteed for life if damage occurs through the fault of our craftsmanship when used under normal conditions and for the purpose intended.

We will cover all shipping costs — simply send the item back to us for a free repair or replacement.

This lifetime warranty covers faults in materials and workmanship and does not apply to damage caused by:

  • unreasonable use
  • neglect
  • accidents
  • normal wear and tear

RETURN OPTIONS

FREE EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT

If you changed your mind or the item wasn’t what you expected, we’ll be happy to offer an exchange or store credit and provide you with a prepaid return label.

Returning Items for Exchange or Store Credit

  • Send your items back within 90 days of delivery
  • We will provide a prepaid return label
  • Store credit or exchange processing begins once the item is mailed back to us

ONLINE GIFT CARD — FREE RETURN

Not sure what you want just yet? No worries. All our gift cards are valid for life and can be redeemed whenever you are ready.

Just like our exchanges, we will cover the cost of your return and provide a prepaid return label.

Returning Items for an Online Gift Card

  • Send your items back within 90 days of delivery
  • We will provide a prepaid return label
  • Your online gift card will be issued once the return is in transit

REFUNDS

All refunds are processed back to the original payment method.

If your card has expired or been canceled, the refund will be issued as store credit.

Only one return transaction per order will be accepted. We recommend carefully checking all items before returning part of an order.

If you paid with a credit card or PayPal, the amount of the returned items (minus original shipping costs and return label cost) will be refunded to your original payment method.

  • Send your items back within 30 days of delivery for a refund
  • We will provide a prepaid return label
    • $9.95 USD (USA)
    • $14.95 CAD (Canada)
  • International customers outside the USA and Canada must arrange their own return shipping
  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days after receiving your return
